Meet Steve
I am an Arizona native and longtime resident of Casa Grande, AZ. I have been a proud conservative and Christian my entire life. Previous to being elected to the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, I served more than ten years on the Casa Grande City Council, giving me valuable experience in public service, budget management, and leading government out of more than one fiscal crisis.
In addition to being county supervisor, I also represent Pinal County as an elected member of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District. Here, I represent your voice on the Central Arizona Project Board where I fight hard to protect Pinal County’s water interests securing our water needs for tomorrow.
Prior to running for office, I was a small business owner in the lumber and truss manufacturing business and was a licensed contractor for both residential housing and commercial development in Arizona and New Mexico. As a former small business owner and community advocate, I have always fought to put my community first and to bring good policy that uplifts the people of Pinal County.
I currently live in Casa Grande with my wife and have three children and have been blessed with many grandchildren. On my spare time, you will find me spending time with my grandchildren, working on cars, or volunteering in the community.

Results for District 3
Interstate-10 Expansion
After years of working with city, county, and state government, we have finally received the funding needed to complete the I-10 expansion project from Casa Grande to Chandler. These improvements will widen I-10, improve bridges, and create a safer and more efficient traffic corridor. Work has already begun on this project and I am proud to have worked with many elected leaders to make this possible.
County Road Improvements
Since my re-election in 2020, I have fought hard to improve the roads in our district. Some of these improvements include, Thornton Rd from Selma to I-8, Hanna Rd - Interstate 8, Interstate 8 - Early Rd, Bel Air Rd - Cordoniz Ln, Alsdorf Rd - Cul De Sac, Overfield Rd, Midway Rd - Indian Valley Rd, and Papoose Road (Diva Rd - Trading Post Rd). Many of these you can see on the Pinal County 5-year Transportation Improvement Plan.
Jobs to the District
District 3 is growing. I have worked hard to bring quality jobs to the district to increase worker wages and quality of life for our residents. To date, I have worked with my fellow supervisor to bring companies like Lucid Motors, Proctor & Gamble, Nikola, and many more to the community. As a result of these efforts, we have increase our tax base by attracting these businesses here and increase the annual median household income directly due to increased wages through these quality high-tech jobs.
Protecting our Freedoms
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked tirelessly to ensure the freedoms of our residents were protected. We kept Pinal County open, had the least restrictions, and ensured that Pinal County staff had a choice when it came to the vaccine. I secured funding to help bring needed resources to help families in the county to ensure their health and wellbeing was accounted for. In addition, I worked with community leaders and non-profit organizations to help make food and other resources available to those families that were impacted by COVID-19 and worked to ensure our church’s and businesses remained open if they wanted to.

Issues Worth Fighting For
Protect Pinal County Water
As an experienced leader in water policy at both the county and state level, I have introduced new policy that protects Pinal County’s water resources and have successfully defended against bad policy that take water rights from Pinal residents. Through my efforts, I have actively been credited for bills being signed into law throughout the past legislative sessions and will continue to fight for you if re-elected.
Roads and Infrastructure
For over a decade, I have committed to bringing new roads, improved infrastructure, and funding to District 3 to accommodate our growth and development. I have long advocated for the Interstate 10 widening project now taking place and have fought tirelessly to improve roads and infrastructure under county jurisdiction including Hopi Hills, Colonial Del Sol, Stanfield, Randolph, and surrounding areas outside Casa Grande city limits. I will continue to put District 3 first.
Family and freedom
As a lifelong conservative, I have fought to protect our freedoms and preserve the American way of life. I believe strong families lead to strong communities. During COVID, I voted to bring the right resources to help combat the pandemic while keeping Pinal County open. I have worked hard to bring high quality jobs to District 3 such as Lucid, Kohler, Proctor & Gamble, Nikola, and more. Doing so has brought new opportunities to our community providing a new quality of life for all residents. I will continue to work to bring quality jobs to the area in a sustainable manner.
